End User License Agreement (EULA)

1. License grant

QuantSummit AI ("Licensor") grants you ("Licensee") a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the SpeakDash software (the "Software") on a Mac you own or control, in object-code form only, subject to your compliance with this EULA, the Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy.

2. Permitted uses

Install on up to three (3) Macs you personally own or control under a single license.
Use the Software for personal or internal business purposes consistent with your subscription tier.
Make a single back-up copy of the installed Software for archival purposes.

3. Restrictions

You will not:

Distribute, sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer the Software or your license key to any third party.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law (e.g., EU Directive 2009/24/EC interoperability provisions) and only after written notice to us.
Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Software.
Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices in the Software.
Use the Software to develop a competing product.
Bypass or attempt to bypass any license validation, free-tier limit, or security mechanism.

4. Open source components

The Software incorporates open-source components, each licensed under its own terms. A complete list with required attributions is available in the App under "About → Open Source Acknowledgments".

5. Updates & auto-update

The Software includes an auto-update mechanism (Sparkle). Updates may include new features, bug fixes, and security patches. By using the Software, you consent to receive these updates. You may disable auto-update in Settings, but doing so may leave you on outdated and potentially insecure versions.

6. Telemetry

The Software collects limited, anonymous telemetry as described in the Privacy Policy. You may opt out in Settings > Privacy.

7. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. QuantSummit AI retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Software is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. Our total liability for any claim is limited as set forth in the Terms of Service.

9. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach this EULA. On termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies. Sections 3, 7, 8 survive termination.

10. Governing law

This EULA is governed by the laws of [INDIA / DELAWARE], the same governing law as the Terms of Service.
